Born and raised in Switzerland with a Turkish/Austrian background I started diving over 20 years ago. The fascination of technical diving, trying new gas mixes to explore undiscoverd grounds made me extensively dive the depths of the Red Sea where I lived and worked for many years.

Rebreathers became part of me shortly after my entry in the technical diving world. For the training in the UK I came in touch with colder waters than the ones in Australia, Carribians Mediteranian or the Red Sea. Once in a drysuit, even Swiss lakes and rivers look inviting to me.

Caves, last but not least, did not stop to tempt me until I got to Florida where I could enjoy excellent instructions of Lamar Hires (Dive Rite).
